President's Message - May 2007

Hello members,

What a great month April was for our group! Thanks to Maria Teresa Ledezma and Magaly Schaeffer, we had 2 wonderful coffee mornings to gather and get to know each other better. After Easter week, we had a nice evening meeting at my house where we had an opportunity to learn about the upcoming tour to Calamarca. The tour to Calamarca was WONDERFUL with 22 of us! Thanks so much to Gretchen Kyllmann for organizing the tour!

May will be even better, and busier! We’ll have only one coffee hour this month due to our busy schedule on May 15. The month of May always heralds the end-of-the-year members’ luncheon. Hope you can join us on May 8th! Especially important will be our Artisans Fair on the weekend of May 19-20. Plan to attend and lend us some of your time! Also, Saturday, May 12 will be a special day tour to the Island of Pariti with the Museum of Archeology. You will NOT want to miss this very special tour! Please note all the details in the newsletter.

June will be much more laid back, so we’ll be ending our year with a flourish in May! Hope you can be a part of each and every special date! Many thanks to all of you who make this such an incredible group! With your help we can give so much to so many in our community.
